Scientists find most Earth-like planet yet.

Space the final frontier. Or so they say. Space is no doubt an intricate realm in itself, but whats the point. We're gonna go out into the universe and spread the disease of man? Is that the general idea? I respect space fully and acknowledge that it is a powerful place full of mystery and question. But why are we focused so much on space when we haven't even figured out the Earth 100%? Watching Planet Earth on the Discovery Channel has shown me something beautiful. It has made me realize that Earth is as mysterious as ever. So many unexplored areas, and so many unanswered questions. And here we are trying to figure out ways to settle fucking Mars. I mean no doubt this news is exciting, and maybe we aren't alone, but it doesn't do anything for us. We can't get there. And we won't be able to for a very very long time.
