My birthday- my brother visited me
Bro- he said- this is something to see
His gift to me- God's Gift

The gateway to understanding
The ability of the one man's band
Packed into it's enticing strands

So there I was with God's Gift
I studied it- felt my heart lift
Felt myself start to slowly shift
A boat on the sea- there I did drift

A feather dancing with the weather
A reason for love changing with seasons
Sunny spots of clarity- soulful charity

Such a gift- 21 years of life and living
The gift of true selflessness and giving
Packed into a heart fully forgiving

So there I was- with a gift from the lord
Not once did my thoughts get bored
Peace of mind is a journey- never swift
To the sacred keep of God's Gift
